Jennifer wrote a blog article for Streamline Publications, "Realism Today" newsletter about her experience and personal story of a spine surgeon at Mayo Clinic who saved her talent after a spine injury.  Jennifer expressed her gratitude with a portrait gift to her doctor and Mayo Clinic told her story in their Sharing May Clinic blog.  The Streamline article should be published in December 2020 .

Jennifer launched a new website Art for Hope and Healing www.artforhopeandhealing.com

to share stories of how art and the arts help patients with health and wellness.  She shares her own medical stories here, and will be sharing stories about others who use creativity for wellness.  She participates on Mayo Clinic Connect and helps patients understand medical issues and learn to confront their fears and advocate for themselves..

Jennifer was juried into signature membership in Women Artists of the West  ( WAOW )  and the American Plains Artists  ( APA ) in 2020.  Previously she earned signature status with the Western Colorado Watercolor Society  ( WCWS )  and Academic Artists association  ( AAA).

She expects to have work in the 2020 Women Artists of the West national exhibition which will be at the Museum of Western Art, and the Western Spirit Art Show which will be at the Old West Museum at the Cheyenne Frontier Days location.

Jennifer Hunter's watercolor painting, Lakota Tears" has been accepted into the 33rd Annual Art of the Plains (American Plains Artists) Juried Exhibit and Sale.  The show opens June 28th, 2018 with a reception from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Quartermaster Building at Fort Concho National Historic Landmark at Burgess and East Avenue C, San Angelo, Texas.  More information is available at www.americanplainsartists.com and  www.fortconcho.com
